For the control of medium-voltage (6kV) variable-frequency water pumps in the water treatment industry, which I/O points need to be monitored? Please explain in detail. Is the same true for ordinary chemical dosing variable-frequency pumps, or is the amount required less? Thank you, could someone give some guidance?
If it is used for voltage stabilization, there need to be points indicating the pump motor’s operating, stopped, and fault states, as well as the outlet pressure. There should also be control signals for starting and stopping the pump, along with AO for speed control and AI for speed feedback. Generally, piston pumps are used for dosing; it’s different in that case.
