I’ll give you a general direction: contactless ultrasonic or radar level gauges. I guess you’re also going to look into this direction. I have used domestic horn-type ultrasonic level gauges, and I’d like to share my experience for your reference. Domestic ultrasonic level gauges stop working as soon as crystallization occurs; they simply aren’t reliable. If you can solve the problem of crystallization, then domestic ultrasonic level gauges can be quite useful. Otherwise, choose one from abroad.
Is a differential pressure type isolation fluid feasible? The double-flange type should be able to withstand the high temperatures you mentioned, right?
For differential pressure types, it is necessary to prevent clogging. Consider the temperature issue for double flanges. Is it possible to have direct contact with the flange?

Siemens has a radar level gauge that can automatically remove crystallization. You can take this as a reference.

I have benefited from learning*. We are preparing to use coal tar.
Operating temperature: 50–120°C is not considered high, but it is a key factor in determining whether coal tar will crystallize. Flange-type differential pressure level gauges are relatively stable, but it is important to ensure proper insulation of the short pipes at the pressure-taking points on the positive and negative sides, to prevent crystallites from adhering to the diaphragm. Choose the plug-in type; simply insert the membrane tip directly into the tank. I use it a lot here, and it’s great.
