Generally, during the first start-up of a unit, water flushing is required to remove debris, and water testing is carried out to check the instruments. But for an acidic water stripping unit that is not starting up for the first time, is water flushing and water testing still necessary during the start-up phase? The premise is that no major modifications were made to the device during maintenance, and it was a routine maintenance task. I’ve never worked with this kind of device, so I’m not quite sure; in my opinion, there’s no need for water flushing or coupling it to other systems. If there are some modifications, it is sufficient to focus on handling those changed areas separately.
As long as the system is not dirty, there is no need for water flushing or water circulation.

It’s not necessary; water coupling is only required when starting up
If it is not the first time starting up, or if a shutdown for major maintenance is not required, then water transportation is not necessary! We have shut down and restarted several times here, but there has been no water supply! No problem!
The new device must undergo water commissioning, which is a test run; generally, the water commissioning plan specifies the purpose of this process. After maintenance, water testing is generally not carried out when the unit is put back into operation; however, it is necessary to ensure that the entire process is unobstructed and under pressure, so as to confirm that the process flows smoothly and that the seals are reliable.
In fact, after the maintenance is complete, as long as a balance in the liquid level circulation is established, pressure testing and water testing can be carried out; if there are no leaks, then heating can be started directly.
