It was only during the maintenance of the motor that a 250-mm pipe was discovered above it; as a result, the motor couldn’t be lowered. Is there any good way to fix this situation?
I don’t know how high above the pipes it is. In the past, we moved the motor by using sleepers to create a similar height, so that we could use a steel pipe with low friction for moving the motor. If we think in the long term, it’s better to reconfigure the piping.
If there are obstacles, you can try using a forklift to lift it out. There are also options such as using a gantry to pour it out, or employing a manual hydraulic boom, among others.
Could you take a photo on the spot? What size motor? Firstly, you didn’t do enough preparatory work; when preparing the pre-maintenance procedure sheet, a plan should have been established beforehand. What was said upstairs is correct; if possible, use a forklift to lift it.
Next time, before carrying out the maintenance, the maintenance plan should be thought through in advance.
Could you explain the situation in more detail? Can I use a forklift? Or lay shelf pipes on the ground and roll the motor out from the shelf pipes?
