Which companies are capable of designing liquid nitrogen cleaning systems? What is the consumption level for a plant with a capacity of 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia?
Linde and Global can handle the design work; a production volume of 300,000 tons is quite substantial. I heard that Tianchen might also be able to do it; The manufacturers are Lind, Hangyang, Zhongtai, and Kaifeng. I’m not sure what the original poster means by ‘consumption’ Does it refer to the amount of high-pressure nitrogen used?
High-pressure nitrogen, liquid nitrogen, steam, electricity consumption.
The consumption of high-pressure nitrogen for 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia is approximately 30,000 Nm3/h. As for liquid nitrogen, it depends on the design pressure; 5.0 MPa is not necessary for normal operation. A few hundred cubic meters of liquid nitrogen may be required during startup to speed up the process, but even without it, there is little impact. For steam, it depends on the heating method used in your cold torch; the output is roughly 2-3 tons per hour. Electricity is probably not used for this purpose.
The pressure of the process gas at the liquid nitrogen washing inlet is 3.1 MPa (G); is liquid nitrogen cooling necessary under normal conditions? Is the pressure drop for liquid nitrogen washing 0.2 MPa?
According to calculations, cooling should be required at 3.1 MPa, but in practice, the amount of cooling needed is very low or even none at all. A pressure drop of 0.2 seems a bit too small for a plant with a capacity of 300,000 tons.
