When blowing air to ignite, should the sample be taken from the outlet of the induced draft fan? When lighting one burner, do other burners need to be blinded?
It is best to take samples at the outlet of the waste heat boiler. If you light one burner, you can close the other valves. Of course, for safety reasons, it is best to close the valves and then use a blind plate to blind them.
For sampling at the burner outlet, there is no need for a blind plate for other things. You also need it for ignition. Whoever lights it will turn it on.
