When unloading organic solvents from tank cars, it is necessary to ground them electrically in order to prevent the accumulation of static electricity, which could pose a risk to safety during the unloading process. However, it is not clear whether static grounding is also required for unloading liquid ammonia from tank cars. Please advise; thank you!
The unloading of ammonia from liquid ammonia tank trucks also requires static grounding. We have ours.
