This post was last edited by Shandong Huaxing on 2010-6-14 05:55. Generally, there are two methods for treating raw material water tanks: 1) steam cooking, and 2) chemical cleaning. If the raw water tank has an anti-corrosion coating, it cannot be steamed, as steam will damage the coating. The cost of chemical cleaning is too high. The following method can be used: 1. When the stripping unit is shut down, first replace the raw material water tanks 3 and 4 3 to 4 times with fire water or reclaimed water. 2. Stop the stripping process. 3. Open the roof manhole. 4. Flush water through the manhole. 5. Open the discharge port. 6. Rinse thoroughly. 7. Open the bottom manhole. 8. Provide ventilation. Advantages: Short time required – 2-3 days only; low cost; safe
