Functions of the steam balance port, water balance port, and exhaust port of the heating network heater

I recently designed a hot water network heater and would like to know what the functions of the steam balance port, the water balance port, and the exhaust port are, as well as how to set them up. Thank you.
Since heat networks are mostly operated in parallel, the settings for vapor balance and liquid balance are intended to maintain a balanced pressure and level among the various heat networks. The extraction vents are designed to remove non-condensable gases from within the equipment, thereby preventing an excess of such gases from reducing the equipment’s heat exchange efficiency.
Do the intake and exhaust ports serve different purposes?
I have a question for the second floor: if 6 exhaust vents are installed, is it still necessary to have suction vents as well? Are the exhaust vents used during testing and pressure testing, and are they different from the suction vents?
This post was last edited by vic001 on 2010-6-17 at 10:14. The steam extraction port is used to draw off steam; it extracts the steam from the shell side of this heat exchanger for other purposes, and it is not used to remove non-condensable gases.
The views on the second floor and the fifth floor differ, but I still tend to agree with the view from the second floor. But still, it should be considered whether a single port can be used for both suction and exhaust purposes, to draw the steam in the shell side of the heat exchanger for other uses. What is that purpose? Why not create a branch from the steam pipeline? I don’t understand; please forgive me.
May I ask how to determine the specifications for vapor balance and water balance?
