The reaction suspension I am currently dealing with has a solid content of around 0.2%, and a total of 6 tons need to be processed within 24 hours. Previously, microporous filters were used for this purpose; however, due to the large volume of material to be processed, filtering becomes difficult after a certain point. This is because there is a substance called phospholipid in the liquid, which is highly viscous, and once it accumulates to a certain amount on the filter elements, filtering becomes extremely difficult, thereby severely affecting the continuity of production. I would appreciate any advice from those with more experience regarding effective methods and suitable equipment that could be utilized in this situation.

Thank you for the advice. Using reagents is one method, but after treatment I have to deal with the waste reagents, which poses an environmental issue. We have also considered adding filtering agents such as perlite or silica gel to the suspension; however, this needs to be tested to ensure it does not affect the quality of the product; It will also increase the amount of waste and solid waste, which is something that needs to be taken into consideration.
