Why, in three-column distillation, does the atmospheric column sometimes have fusel oil removed and sometimes not? What counts as reasonable?
Our three-column distillation of fusel oils is carried out in the recovery column. In my opinion, it is mainly to meet the standards of the product.
The master said that when the synthesis pressure is low and the catalyst is highly active, the crude alcohol produced contains fewer impurities; basically, there is little fusel oil present. Ours doesn’t contain fusel oils, and its quality meets the standards.
Under normal circumstances, there is less fusel oil in the catalyst at the initial stage, and very little is produced in the atmospheric pressure column; it increases later on. It is impossible for no fusel oil to be produced at any point

So if, in the later stages, the catalyst loses its effectiveness, the synthesis pressure increases, and there is more fusel alcohol... does the equipment still need to be modified?
Return to the 10th floor; no modifications are needed. As the levels of fusel compounds change over time, the sampling points should also be adjusted. Controlling the temperature and the amount of product extracted is sufficient
