May I ask, there is a branch in the pipeline at the pump outlet that returns to the storage tank. What is the purpose of this? How should the pipe diameter and flow rate be determined?

When it is necessary to reduce the pumping volume during the processing process, the pump’s flow rate can be adjusted to the allowable minimum level, thereby effectively protecting the pump.
To ensure that the pump’s flow rate reaches the required minimum level, thereby effectively protecting the pump and the entire system’s piping, an automatic recirculation valve must be installed 0 meters from the pump’s outlet (it is essential to install this valve). Two functions come to mind: it protects the pump while also carrying out a preliminary mixing of the material inside the tank, thereby ensuring that the material is uniform before it moves on to the next processing step.
