Issues with the meteorological backflow pipeline of the liquefied gas loading arm

It deals with the issue of the weather reflux pipeline for liquefied gas loading nozzles; our factory uses Noerdlich industrial nozzles. I wonder if any other factories use the same type of nozzles as we do? The problem is as follows: during loading in the morning, there was no sound of air escaping from the vapor pipeline; loading was then stopped. After removing the crane arm, it was found that the slip knot was stuck (it used to be easy to press). Upon removing the slip knot, the spring appeared to be fine, but there was black substance on the self-locking part (which is made of copper) as well as on the mating surfaces (it’s likely some kind of carbon-based substance, not rust). The tight fitting of these surfaces prevented air from escaping from the slip knot. I wonder if any other manufacturers have encountered a similar issue, and what solutions exist or how this situation can be alleviated
