At 8:00 a.m., the transmitter for the discharge pipe pressure PI-2457 failed, and the pressure reading dropped gradually from 0.2 MPA to 0.038 MPA. The pressure gradient in the discharge pipe remains within the controlled range; the flow rate drops by about half, and the system does not shut down at 3k. By 20:00, the pressure in the discharge pipe suddenly rose to its maximum level; the pressure gradient exceeded the allowable limit, causing a 3K shutdown. Fortunately, the chlorine gas has just been cut off from the 3K system. After PI-2457, a Rosemount pressure transmitter was replaced. The system has returned to normal.
After 2 years of operation, the 3K compressors in our company began to show signs of leakage at the labyrinth seal; there was a significant increase in nitrogen consumption, and the pressure at the first stage also increased markedly. We suspect it is labyrinth corrosion, but the internal structure cannot be observed, so we are not aware of the exact situation. If you have any good suggestions, please offer your guidance ； Who has replaced the labyrinth seal? Can domestic ones be used? Which manufacturers produce them?
