An online pH meter is a very important online instrument in production, and it is greatly affected by external conditions (temperature, medium). It is important to ensure proper operation and daily maintenance. 1. Monitor the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the sampling system daily, ensuring that the sample flow rate remains within the normal range. Because if the flow rate is too low, the instrument responds slowly ; When the flow rate is too high, the instrument readings will fluctuate. In normal-pressure systems, the pressure should be kept below 0.5 Mpa; in high-temperature environments, the sample temperature must not exceed 80°C. 2. Calibrate the instrument with a standard solution once every 3 months. 3. Pay attention to checking the insulation and heating conditions of the sampling pipelines and instrument panels during winter. 4. When cleaning the counter electrode, pay attention to the disassembly method and be careful not to cause any collisions. 5. The dust and dirt on the outer surface of the transmitter can be wiped off using a damp, lint-free cloth. If necessary, various household cleaners can also be used.

Many different PH levels were used; personally, I think Yokogawa’s PH is better. Generally, online pH meters have temperature compensation but not pressure compensation; sometimes they give accurate readings when calibrated using a buffer, but the readings differ from those obtained in actual process pipelines.

Online pH meters from Yokogawa, Emerson, Hach, and E+H all perform well; there are many successful applications of them in the field. Does the person asking have any issues with making a selection? For example, is the material of the electrode not chosen appropriately? Or is it due to inadequate maintenance work, or insufficient and timely calibration of the standard buffer solutions?
