In the United States, natural gas is usually sold retail in units of Therm, while wholesale transactions are typically carried out in units of Decatherms, or thousand Decatherms – abbreviated as MDth – or even Million Decatherms, abbreviated as MM Dth. 1 MMDTH equals 1,000,000,000 cubic inches, which is equivalent to 16,387.264 cubic meters.
