In chemical processing equipment, what are the driving devices and what are the stationary devices? Thank you very much
There are usually separate categories for moving equipment and stationary equipment. Devices such as compressors, fans, and pumps are known as dynamic equipment, while devices like tanks and furnaces are referred to as static equipment.
Don’t think of chemical terms as being that complicated. Moving equipment refers to devices such as pumps that provide kinetic energy, while stationary equipment includes things like towers, reaction vessels, and tanks
