Some experiments are currently being conducted on rust-proof paint for seamless steel pipes, but the specific formulation has not been determined yet. I’m not sure if there are anyone who specializes in this area; could anyone provide some information? I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you have any relevant information, could you send it to my email? Thank you~ lililaugh@126.com
Generally, corrosion prevention is taken into account during process design, including the type of paint and painting requirements. You can take a look at the relevant design documents, which contain the corresponding standard numbers and so on.
What’s explained in sh3022 is excellent; you should take a look.

Red lead anti-rust paint? I don’t know which one the original poster is referring to
Regarding the anti-rust paint for seamless steel pipes that you asked about, it is first necessary to analyze the corrosive environment, consider the required anti-corrosion grade, as well as the amount of investment required. It is based on factors like these that the anti-corrosion grade is determined and the appropriate anti-corrosion coating is selected.
I’m not aware of the current status of the experiments or any issues that may exist. Could you please send me the details to my email address: hkyhq@tom.com
