For the calculation of a reheater with a special structure, a heat exchange area of 76.1 is required; there is no phase change. What is the outer diameter × thickness? How is the inner diameter of the shell determined? What is the pipe spacing, pipe length, and number of pipes? Which ones are usually given by customers? 38×2.5 arranged in a concentric circle,
Generally, a diameter-to-length ratio of around 5:10 is reasonable. Of course, there are special considerations as well. The number of tubes is determined based on your heat exchange area; you choose an appropriate tube length and determine the suitable inner diameter. As for the tube spacing, an equilateral triangle, square, or rotated square pattern is commonly used. The recommended tube spacing is 1.25 times the outer diameter; the minimum tube spacing is approximately 6.4 mm. A smaller tube spacing means smaller tubes, resulting in a more compact arrangement and lower costs. Of course, everything should be determined according to actual conditions. This is just my personal opinion for reference only
