Which version of CAD is the most user-friendly?

I have AutoCAD 2010 installed now. The system is Xp-SP3 (Shanghai **Enterprise Edition). CPU---E7500, 2G-DDR3, G310 (512M). But it still feels a bit sluggish when running, not very smooth. Then I also tried 2009 and 2011. It feels the same in all cases. What should people do in such situations? Mine is used for drawing 2D graphics; I hardly use it for 3D work. Thank you all first!
Each new version improves the functionality; I just used 2010, and it’s more user-friendly than 08
With each version upgrade, the features are improved. I just used 2010; I’m not yet used to its interface. 2010 adds some more practical features.

If you have high requirements for speed, I recommend using CAD 2004 – drawing creation is much faster with it. This is also why many people in my company are reluctant to use newer versions of CAD
Reply to 5# penguin: It’s not about how fast it needs to be; it’s just that when playing 2010 in amplified mode, there’s sometimes a dull feeling, which is annoying. I’m not sure how it is for others. Do you think my machine’s specifications are insufficient to handle 2010?
Only 2D is available; R14 has the fastest speed. The MMX166 can all run smoothly. Considering versatility, the 2004 model that has been used is quite good. In 2006, cards began to be released with single-core processors, 1GB of memory, and integrated graphics.
Personally, I think the 2004 version of the CAD software is the most user-friendly, with functions that are quite accessible to most people.
Let’s use 2004 instead. The reasons are: 1. It’s simple and practical； 2. There aren’t many things that are flashy but lacking in substance ； 3. For the currently mainstream CAD in use ； 4. It has low hardware requirements. Don’t pursue too high versions; that’s all just commercial hype by developers. They add fancy features just to make money, without caring whether it’s practical or not
