For the transformation system oil remover, is it better to have flow from top to bottom or from bottom to top? What’s the reason?
It’s better to have the flow enter from below and exit from above, as this allows the gas to enter in the lower part; during contact with the degreasing agent, some oil droplets will gradually grow larger, and then, due to their own weight, they will sink to the bottom of the degreaser. If the flow enters from above and exits from below, the separated oil droplets are likely to be carried away by the air currents.
If it is an oil remover with a *filtering structure, the flow is from bottom to top or from the middle side towards the top; a partition plate is installed in the middle of the container to hold the filter elements, thereby separating the clean area from the contaminated area. The oil droplets filtered out settle at the bottom of the container and are then discharged
It would be better to have it exit on the bottom side, at the upward direction.
Our factory uses the method of material entering from above and exiting from below, but I personally think it’s better to have material enter from below and exit from above. My view is the same as that of moderator “654262293”; I wonder if anyone can explain the advantages of this approach and its benefits for the manufacturing process.
Enter from the side and exit from the front; that’s how it is in our company
