I was wondering, is it better to work in environmental design or in environmental project management?

I used to work on flue gas desulfurization design, in the process engineering field. I’ve been thinking about changing jobs recently; there are a few potential employers that are involved in the design of desulfurization project drawings ； One of the employers is involved in EPC projects for desulfurization; they probably go there to work on project bidding, preliminary design, and project management tasks. May I ask the seniors which one they think is better?
It depends on an individual’s personality and preferences. To be practical, the latter offers greater financial prospects; pure technical skills don’t carry as much value as management skills
I think the same way, but I’m worried that over time I might lose all that skill. Struggling...........
What are your life goals? The work in this field is relatively straightforward, but it’s difficult to reach an expert level, and it’s not something that can be determined by an individual’s willingness. It depends on the working environment and atmosphere. Management is relatively cost-effective, and there are more options in the future.
