Can the proximity switch be replaced with a domestic brand?

Many of the control valves in our facility use TURCK proximity switches of the model Ni5-G12SK-Y1X to indicate the opening and closing positions. Within less than half a year, some of these switches started to malfunction. When we consulted the distributor, the cost per switch was 680 yuan, which seemed too high to us. We are wondering if there are any alternative products available in China, and which manufacturers produce them. Those who have used such products are welcome to share their experiences.

It seems to be produced in some county called Dongkou in Zhejiang Province! It’s pretty good; it’s small in size, I’ve used it a lot, and I think it’s fine!
Check PF and Baruf Schick to see if there are cheaper versions of the same model; Korean Autonics offers relatively low prices, and there are also many options from Taiwan. I don’t know about the domestic situation.
We also use switches from Dongkou County. It’s okay too

OP, have you figured out what’s causing the problem with the Turck proximity switch? We also have two units that have failed here.
