As far as I know, two sets of HT-L coal gasification furnaces have been tested: 1. Puyang Longyu Chemical Co., Ltd. under Henan Yongmei Group； 2. Anhui Linquan Chemical Co., Ltd. The aerospace furnace in Linquan, Anhui, is capable of processing 800 tons of pulverized coal per day; its gasification pressure is 3.5 Mpa, and the gas production rate (on a dry basis) is 45,000 Nm3/h. The composition of the gas is 60% CO and 32% H2.
Linquan in Anhui is doing well – it produces methanol using space-related heating technologies, giving it a significant cost advantage. It is worthwhile to draw on its experience on a conditional basis
The space furnace is currently in the industrial demonstration phase; its performance seems decent, but the daily coal processing capacity is still relatively low compared to Shell’s dry powder gasification and coal slurry gasification technologies.
In China, there are only two sites where such operations are carried out by vehicles: one is in Linquan, Anhui, and the other is in Puyang, Henan. Anhui Linquan Chemical Co., Ltd. has been renamed Anhui Jinmei Zhongneng Chemical Co., Ltd. Another space furnace is currently under construction at the head office, and it is expected to be completed and put into operation in the near future
