The dam in my hometown is going to be blown up to release floodwaters. (His hometown is Jiangxi.) Our school classrooms are filled with ordinary people. (His hometown is located near the school.) My parents have both been sent to help calm the crowd. (The parents are school administrators/teachers.) Many military/police officers have gone to the town. But the high ground in the town center is no problem. Over 98 years... Except for the text in parentheses, the original text is reproduced as is……
