What is the difference between V and VG in polysilicon production?

This post was last edited by zjiris on 2010-6-29 12:01. What is the difference between V and VG in the PDF diagrams used in polysilicon production? Do V and VG both go into the exhaust gas scrubbing device?
Is it a PID diagram? VG refers to exhaust gases, but I’ve really never seen V
V – Exhaust gas is released, but it all goes into the exhaust gas scrubbing system; so what is the difference between the released exhaust gas and the exhaust gas itself?

It’s a PFD diagram, right? Is that correct? V represents the exhaust gas, VG represents waste gas, and PG represents tail gas? Mainly, the components are different and the usage periods vary.
V represents the air being released, while VG refers to exhaust gas. In some designs, V is used directly for releasing air; this pipeline is generally employed to displace air with nitrogen during startup. VG, on the other hand, is an exhaust gas pipeline – since it contains highly dangerous and harmful gases, it cannot be released directly. Instead, those harmful gases must first be removed using an alkaline solution in a scrubber tower before the gas can be released
