During the initial test run of a new centrifugal pump installed in my unit, the noise was loud. After inspection, it was found that there were noises to varying degrees from the front shaft of the motor and the front shaft of the pump body. Please comment on what may be the cause.
What if it's like what the original poster said? Are the motor and pump installed on different axes? But it seems that motors and pumps are generally made by the manufacturer at the same time. Have you checked the following from other aspects?

The motor and pump both make loud noises on one side. 1. The center alignment of the motor and pump is not good. 2. The bearing box of the original test pump was not lubricated or the amount of lubricating oil was too much or too little, causing damage to the bearing and making noise.
I agree with what was said above. The noise of centrifugal pumps usually comes from poor alignment of the motor and pump, damage to the elastic block of the coupling, and damage to the bearings.
The following situations may occur: The pump coupling is not properly aligned. The coupling diaphragm or elastic block is damaged. The pump shaft is bent and there are impurities in the lubricating oil, causing the bearing to run poorly. The bearing is damaged (but not serious). The clearance at the bearing installation position of the bearing box is too large.
1. Whether the motor anchor bolts are tightened. 2. There are big changes in the pilot test run. 3. The new machine’s test run conditions are unstable.
