Reduction furnaces come in configurations with 12 pairs of rods, 18 pairs of rods, 24 pairs of rods, and 48 pairs of rods. So, what is the highest configuration with the most pairs of rods currently in use for polysilicon reduction in our country?
Does the rod logarithm have to be a multiple of 3?
There are also those using 9 pairs; I know that 24 pairs are in use currently, and I’ve never heard of 48 pairs. What was said on the second floor is correct – the number of rods must be a multiple of 3. The main reason seems to be that we generally use three-phase electricity (as an expert said during the training).

The commonly used type nowadays also has 12 rods; previously, a design with 9 rods was used, as well as one with 12 rods. However, the design with 9 rods is not really used these days
