As the title suggests: AspenV7 is installed on Vista, but when trying to run Plus, whether loading a template or starting a new project, the message \"You do not have access to this directory\" appears. The path specified is \"D:/ProgramData/Aspen Utilities Planner V7.1\", and the message further states that \"This file cannot be opened without a valid working directory.\" Wait, I need to save a file as well, but I can’t do it no matter what. What’s going on? Please let me know, thanks!
I’ve never encountered this; I use it on a laptop with Vista, and it’s just a bit slow! It works fine; it’s likely that it wasn’t installed completely. It’s recommended to fix that issue again
I encountered this issue twice when installing – the initial template couldn’t be loaded, and the blank simulation wouldn’t run either; I had to click OK. Then the program exits
Reply to 3# vincent2007: It can be set; it should be possible to do so according to the instructions. Every time it is opened, a prompt will appear to set a working folder, and you can choose one.
