Brothers, having been involved in sulfuric acid production for many years, what should we do when doing an inventory check in a sulfuric acid plant regarding those things that cannot be measured? Such as concentrate, roasted ore, coal
Logically, products such as concentrate and roasted ore are measured upon entry and exit from the factory, but some factories do not have such measurements; in those cases, the amount has to be calculated based on the sulfuric acid produced. Our factory is one of those.
For materials that have already been measured, an empirical estimation method is used by comparing them with the inventory levels in the silos. Our company has been using it for decades.
We have also tried to work quickly by calculating based on production volume, but that defeats the purpose of inventory checking. In the end, we had to rely on estimates and rough approximations; there was no other choice, haha
