There’s no need to grout everything; as you said, it’s sufficient to grout only the outer edges of the equipment to level them out.
Based on the requirements of your factory, we require full secondary grouting, but if it can be used without any problems, then it’s sufficient to grout only the outer edges of the joint equipment base.
Some bases have ports for grouting, usually located below the motor. If there are any, fill them all in at the end; otherwise, rainwater will flow in through the grouting ports of the base, which can cause significant damage to the foundation if it is a corrosive substance. If not, there’s no need to fill it; as long as the anchor bolts are tight, the foundation won’t loosen.
There is no need to water everything. Just water the edges and stabilize it
Experience shows that full grouting is better. Leave no loose ends. It is beneficial both for the corrosion protection of the base and for vibration suppression.
Our factory requires full grouting due to the harsh environment, to prevent corrosion of the machine base. If the corrosion in your area is not severe, then it’s sufficient to grout the outer edge of the joint equipment base.
