For newly put into production coke oven, how to determine the upper and lower limit pressure of the gas collecting pipe?
Generally, the pressure of the gas collecting pipe is determined based on the pressure at the bottom of the carbonization chamber below the suction pipe being no less than 5Pa. The approximate calculation is: P set = 5 + 12H, where H is the vertical height from the bottom of the carbonization chamber to the pressure measuring point of the gas collecting pipe. However, for newly put into production coke ovens, the walls of the carbonization chamber cannot be very tight. In order to make the free carbon generated by the pyrolysis of waste gas block the brick joints and seal them as soon as possible, the gas collecting pipe pressure should be 30 to 50 Pa higher than during normal production.
Ours is a 4-meter coke oven, and the gas collecting pipe pressure is 80-120pa.
The pressure of the gas collecting pipe is determined based on the pressure at the bottom of the carbonization chamber below the suction pipe being no less than 5Pa. When the pressure at the bottom of the carbonization chamber is 5Pa, the pressure of the gas collecting pipe is used as the lower line of the gas collecting pipe pressure, and 20 Pa is added as the upper line. The newly built coke oven is 30Pa higher than the actual measured value.
The pressure at the bottom of the carbonization chamber at the end of coking is not less than 5Pa. The approximate calculation is: P set=5+12H shall prevail
New production is higher than normal, and higher in summer than in winter.
It is lower in the summer than in the winter because the air has a different density.
I agree with the seventh floor's point of view. According to actual production observations, when the coke oven does not emit smoke, the gas collecting pipe pressure in summer is lower than the gas collecting pipe pressure in winter.
Measure the pressure at the bottom of the carbonization chamber and maintain a slight positive pressure at the bottom of the carbonization chamber at the end of coking.
