Dear sea friends, I have a question regarding lifting machinery. I wonder whether lifting equipment (such as electric hoists or cranes) needs to be equipped with check valves to prevent accidents resulting from falls from a height? Our electric hoist suffered a high-altitude drop accident due to damage to the second-stage gear, and we are considering whether to install a check valve to prevent similar accidents.
