Which company offers a better and more reasonable preprocessing system for online analysis? And can it truly achieve the desired processing effect? The preprocessing system I’m using right now is from Beijing Kolon; their preprocessing service is terrible – full of flaws. However, I have to use it since there’s no way to change it. Especially when it comes to desulfurization, neither of the two methods we’re using works very well. 1. Desulfurization using a saturated solution of lead acetate requires the solution to be replaced every 12 hours on average, and the precipitates that form are difficult to remove. 2. The granular iron oxide desulfurization method requires replacement every approximately 48 hours. Although this increases the time interval between replacements, it generates a large amount of water vapor during desulfurization, which is not favorable for infrared analyzers. Moreover, 48 hours is still a relatively short period of time. I hope experts can suggest some effective desulfurization solutions; thank you all
The pretreatment from Cologne that we use for gasification doesn’t work well. The pre-treatment has been completely changed, and it’s working well now. The desulfurizing agent used is lead acetate; we hope to find a better one.
Beijing Cologne???? Is it Beijing Kailong?

The manufacturer of the analyzer used in our plant’s gasification unit to measure trace amounts of oxygen is AMI; the pretreatment equipment is provided by Beijing Kailong, and it isn’t very effective. Liquid lead acetate is used in the desulfurization process, and the solution needs to be replaced frequently. Even so, the oxygen cell does not last long – it fails after about 3 months.

How about the trace oxygen in AMI? I am familiar with Teridan and Fuji Mei.
I’ve never encountered this application before. Desulfurization is done to prevent oxygen electrode poisoning, right? The substance that is removed is hydrogen sulfide, I believe. What is the approximate content? As far as I know, GE’s micro-oxygen measurement method is currently the most accurate. There are many manufacturers that offer integrated solutions for preprocessing; one can turn to integrators with experience in large-scale petrochemical projects, as they possess considerable expertise. If a high content is present and electrochemical methods indicate that maintenance is required frequently, could considering the use of laser methods for measuring oxygen content be an option?
Imported online analyzers generally pass the inspection; the key lies in preprocessing. Kailong has considerable experience in preprocessing. There are also the southern and northern branches, but both of them have established many small companies; it’s important to be careful in distinguishing between them. There are not many experienced analysis integration specialists.
There is no such thing as a ‘good’ or ‘bad’ manufacturer; what matters is whether the technical solution is thorough enough. You must verify this before signing the contract. Of course, there are also manufacturers that are not very reliable.
With a hydrogen sulfide laser online analyzer, no preprocessing is required. It’s much easier.
