In a few days, I might need to switch the slurry drum. I’ve never done this myself before, so I’m asking everyone for advice on the best way to do it 1. Drain the water remaining in the drum; slightly open the drum’s drain valve, and introduce steam from the system into the slurry drum to raise its temperature at a rate of 50°C per hour. During the heating process, slightly open the large valve for the oil slurry to enter the drum to prevent pressure buildup in the pipelines. 2. When the temperature rises to 200°C, turn off the condensate drain and introduce deoxygenated water (at 180°C) into the drum to establish a liquid level of 50%. 3. Then open the steam generator gas generation valve to establish balance between the steam generator and the system. Finally, it can be switched just like cutting a pump. Is this the correct way to switch? I wonder if there’s anything else to pay attention to?
1. Confirm that the backup steam drum has passed the leak test, and check the relevant procedures. 2. From the system to the steam introduction into the drum, increase the temperature gradually, paying attention to proper thermal tightening of the flanges. 3. After the temperature and pressure are balanced, feed water is introduced into the drum; there is no need to raise the liquid level that high. Just control the lower limit. 4. Open the slurry outlet valve, and slowly open the inlet valve. Until all the slurry is improved, use the standby steam drum. 5. Once the standby steam drum is operating normally, begin to gradually shut down the operating steam drum.
