During physical calibration, the outlet pressure of the pump fluctuates greatly, and the actual valve position also varies; what is the reason for this?
Is it the valve position that fluctuates a lot? If all three flowmeters are to be calibrated, a return pipeline is not used. If the first two flow meters are calibrated, the valves behind the circulation valve must be fully open. If they are not fully open, under full pressure difference, the valves will fluctuate, and the pressure built up by these valves will also fluctuate accordingly.
While we were operating, the pressure in the buffer tank was almost equal to both the pump’s outlet pressure and the pressure in the buffer tank itself. Sometimes the pump’s outlet pressure was lower than that of the buffer tank, but the pump didn’t make any noise; the control panel showed that both the pump’s outlet pressure and current levels were stable. I was wondering if any of you seniors have encountered this phenomenon – do we need to redo it?
Were there pressures in the pipeline when you carried out the calibration? If there was pressure but the pipeline wasn’t filled to capacity, fluctuations would occur. By \"pressurizing\" here, I mean artificially increasing the pressure in the pipeline by closing the final valve in the slurry pipeline. Just the resistance in the coal slurry pipeline should not cause significant fluctuations in pipeline pressure.
