"How should “idle rotation” be translated in “smooth idle rotation curve”?

The AP1000 main pump operated for a total of 28.2 hours, with 8 start-ups and stoppages. On May 17, EMD and Westinghouse summarized, analyzed, and discussed the test results and recorded data, reaching a consensus on the test conclusions, which were accepted by all witnesses and participants. The results of this intermediate test met the 8 expected goals set prior to the test, namely: a smooth idle speed curve ； The bearing is not making any abnormal noises ； There was no excessive vibration... Can it be translated as "coast down"?
Speed decay curve – the term for the coasting curve. In my opinion, this term should be commonly used in the nuclear industry; those working in the chemical industry are not very familiar with it

coast-down is the standard API term
A similar problem has existed for years. Agree with the translation in #4; it comes from the API standard, so it should be accurate. It is also called a Coast Down Test or Coastdown Test. I hope this will be helpful to the original poster.
