The injection well and monitoring well design work for this project was undertaken by China Petroleum Drilling Engineering and Technology Research Institute Strategic Planning. This project is designed to capture and store 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, with an estimated investment of about 210 million yuan. It is expected to be completed and put into operation before the end of 2010.
