I would like to ask everyone: can all centrifugal compressors (motor-driven) be tested under no-load conditions? Can a turbine-driven centrifugal compressor be tested under no-load conditions?
All can be tested under no-load conditions; there are regulations in chemical processing that require individual unit tests to be carried out before the system is put into operation.

Regardless of the type, new compression units must first undergo a no-load test run.
