If the filter cloth is clogged, it can generally only be cleaned. Some people in China use hot alkaline water and pour it into the filter press, letting it soak for several hours; you should give it a try. If lead chloride easily clogs the filter cloth, causing the filtering performance to decline after every few batches, could a vertical pressure filter be used?
