Stainless steel horizontal centrifugal pumps: ISWH32-160 (I) Flow rate: 6.3, Head: 32, Motor power: 2.2KW. ISWH25-160 Flow rate: 5.2, Head: 30, Motor power: 1.5KW
For high-temperature and high-concentration caustic soda, ordinary stainless steel may not be suitable; I’ve seen some documents indicating that nickel and high-nickel alloys are more commonly used in similar conditions
What I’ve described are the flow rate and head required for actual use. So, when selecting a pump, what degree of margin is needed? Additionally, regarding the material of the pump, I know that nickel can be used, but its cost is relatively high. Are there any other materials that can be considered? But when selecting the actual piping material, can we really use pipes with a diameter of 40 mm? Should we consider other factors and choose a slightly larger pipe diameter?
