I see that many marine enthusiasts are asking this question! I’m posting this to explain that different pressure gauges are required for various measurement ranges. The selection of a pressure gauge’s range is determined based on several factors: 1) Range selection – When measuring steady pressures, the maximum range of the pressure gauge should be approximately 1.5 times or more than the normal pressure value. When measuring pulsating pressures, the maximum range should be approximately 2 times or more than the normal pressure value. When measuring the pressure at the outlet of a pump, the maximum range should be close to the highest pressure value at that outlet. For high-pressure measurements, the maximum range should be 1.7 times or more than the highest pressure value. To ensure accurate pressure measurement, the minimum pressure value should be higher than 1/3 of the pressure gauge’s measurement range. (2) Type selection: When the pressure to be measured is >0.4 MPa, a Bourdon tube pressure gauge can be used; for measuring pressure
Then, for measuring hydrogen, what kind of pressure gauge should be used?
Among the media I have encountered so far, oxygen pressure gauges and *ao acid an gauges require special specifications; no such requirements exist for the others at present. I don’t think there are any special requirements for hydrogen.
