This post was last edited by llwwqq533n on 2010-7-9 20:21 Dear Sichuan friends, come and discuss this issue? Recently, the naphtha in our factory has very high requirements on alkane content. Usually our source of naphtha is the naphtha at the top of the initial distillation tower and the top of the atmospheric pressure tower. However, due to the strict requirements on the alkane content, we have no choice but to give priority to the naphtha at the top of the initial distillation tower because the top stone of the initial distillation tower The alkane content of naphtha is high, but the problem is that our naphtha is also used to produce solvent oil. In this way, the raw material for solvent oil can only be the naphtha at the top of the normal pressure tower. However, the naphtha at the top of the normal pressure tower has few light components, causing the density and output of solvent oil to be seriously affected. Everyone, is there any good way to resolve this contradiction? Let’s discuss it and learn from each other. * Improve it!
This problem is easy to solve. First, increase the initial side line; if it still cannot make more constant top naphtha, the second step is to increase the initial distillation tower top pressure. After a two-pronged approach, it will be more conducive to the heat balance and energy saving of the device production.

Sir, I would like to ask a question, what is the normal alkane content of naphtha? I am not a refiner. I want to find an oil with high alkane and low aromatic content, with a dry point less than 230.
There is no general concept of the alkane content of naphtha. The alkane content is related to the crude oil and depends on the crude oil you refine. For example, the alkane content of naphtha refined from Shaqing and Zakum as raw materials is generally around 70.
It is related to the type of crude oil, and other adjustments will not cause qualitative changes.
Reply 4# htsujm The naphtha in our factory is a high-alkane and low-aromatic oil with a dry point below 203°C, and the alkane content is above 65%.
Open the primary side line to increase the pressure at the top of the primary distillation tower.
Thank you, the poster. The content is still a bit low. About 90% can meet the requirements.
