When the piping system is not connected to the detector, the pressure is normal; however, once the detector is connected, the pressure rises suddenly, and the flow rate at the outlet slows down. After the pump is turned off, the pressure decreases slowly, but it does not return to normal levels. It seems that a negative pressure has developed in the entire piping system. I would appreciate it if experienced users could help analyze whether this is simply due to the detector (Additionally, the part of the external piping system that connects to the detector is not properly sealed, resulting in liquid leakage.)
Fix the leak in the pipeline first, then start the pump and observe the pressure changes before addressing the issue
Is it blocked by a pillar? Leaking and high pressure may be caused by a clogged column; try flushing the chromatography column by turning it upside down
Connect the detector directly without using a chromatography column to see what the pressure is like, and determine whether there is a blockage in the detector or an issue with the tubing; by checking each component one by one, the problem can be resolved
