What is the function of the pressure-reducing orifice plate installed in front of the critical nozzle? I’d like everyone’s help in answering this
It prevents erosion and wear of the equipment caused by high pressure drops before (double-acting slide valve) and after (flue, residual boiler, chimney) as well as high linear speeds, functioning in a manner similar to a flow-limiting orifice plate
