Turbine speed fluctuation

Coking rich gas compressor, driven by Hangqi NG/25/20. The static testing after the turbine’s major repair was successful; the compressor worked fine at 8,000 revolutions per minute. However, at 9,000 revolutions per minute, the speed fluctuated sometimes while remaining stable at other times. I would like to ask everyone what could be causing these speed fluctuations. Are there any good ways to deal with it?
Reply 1# ZHONGJIEJUN: What is the fluctuation range of the rotation speed? If the fluctuations in the steam system are ruled out, check the following two aspects: 1. Throttle fluctuation may be caused by dirt in the fuel control system, resulting in slight stickiness in the throttle operation. Solution: Remove the exhaust cap on top of the faulty throttle, and gently tap it a few times with a screwdriver; be careful not to use too much force to avoid causing significant changes in the turbine’s speed. Using this method, things that are stuck should be able to be taken out. 2. Adjust the PID settings of the governor and see.
Will this work? But are you too afraid to give it a try? It shouldn’t cause any other effects, right?
