Possible applications (excluding the exhaust gas treatment unit) include: 1. Two units for preheating air and feed gas. 2. The waste heat exchanger located after the combustion furnace; it can also be considered a heat exchange device, 1 unit in total. 3. Three units for indirect heating at the inlet of the three-stage Claus process. 4. Three condensers at the outlet of the three-stage Claus process; these can be combined together. That’s all I can think of for now.
The heat exchangers used in the sulfur recovery unit include: four acid gas waste boilers, four flue gas waste boilers, four preheaters, four condensers, and air coolers.
There are many components in the exhaust gas treatment section: quench water, rich and lean fluids, air cooling, and plate exchangers.
