According to GB17267-1998 \"Safety Technical Requirements for Liquefied Petroleum Gas Cylinder Filling Stations\", the filling station should be arranged in separate zones: a production zone (including tank areas, filling areas, and areas for loading and unloading gas cylinders from vehicles and railway tank cars) and an auxiliary zone. A non-combustible solid wall with a height of no less than 2 meters should be installed between the production zone and the auxiliary zone. ” According to 8.3.12 of GB 50028-2006, the production area of a liquefied gas supply base shall be enclosed by a solid fire-resistant wall with a height of not less than 2 m. An auxiliary area can be set; otherwise, the burning body will not have a solid enclosure wall. ” May I ask, 1. If we follow GB 50028-2006 first, do we then not need to consider GB17267-1998? 2. It is stated in the explanation for regulation 8.3.12 that a solid fire-resistant wall with a height of no less than 2 meters should be installed in the production area, and the reason given for this is \"the need for safety protection.\" Should this safety protection be understood as being related to management purposes (given that the fire separation distances between our buildings are already sufficient)? They are generally kept separate. Also, could you clarify the specific function of the auxiliary area you mentioned? Does it refer to storing filled bottles or empty bottles, or is it meant as an office area?
Production area (including tank areas, filling and production areas, and areas for loading and unloading tanks by truck or train) and auxiliary areas. In my understanding, the auxiliary areas refer to other buildings or zones that are not part of the production area. . . It includes office buildings, spare parts, control rooms, and things of that kind. I’m not sure if that’s correct; it’s not specified in the standards either
