The wastewater treatment plant in our facility uses dissolved air pumps manufactured by Jiangdu Dongxin Water Treatment, model DX-80. The problem is that although the pump and motor are properly aligned and the pump operates smoothly, there is significant vibration in the outlet pipeline. Why is that?
What does the dissolved air pump that the poster is talking about look like? If it is a positive displacement pump, then that’s correct – as positive displacement pumps use a rotating shaft to compress the material, and the material exiting the pump is not continuous; therefore, vibrations in the outlet pipeline are normal. Strengthening the fixation of the pipeline will solve this issue

Reply to 3#: If it needs to be strengthened, that means there’s no problem with the equipment itself; it’s necessary to check whether there are issues with the pipelines. How well are your pipelines supported? Check the type of the outlet check valve and its operating condition!
Is it the inlet filter that is clogged? Check it; it’s very likely.
Reply to 4# zxf760718: The outlet check valve is in good condition; there is no inlet filter. One thing to note is that during operation, water seepage is occurring at the flange of the outlet check valve (the pump is vertical), and the gasket used is asbestos-based. Could this be caused by vibrations?

It might be an imported pipeline, containing gas during suction
