Dear fellow marine engineers: I’ve been self-studying CAESAR II recently and have some questions; I hope experts can help me answer them: 1. Should the dimensions of elbows be included in those of the straight pipes? For example, if the length of a straight pipe is 2000 mm, should I enter 2000 mm directly in CAESAR II, or 2000 minus 1.5D? 2. Should tees and reducers be entered separately in the data table of a new unit, or in the same way as elbows?
Simply enter the elbow at the end of the 2000mm node; a reducer is used for reducing the diameter, while SIF&TEE is used for tees

Should tees and elbows be entered separately in their own data fields in the new unit, or in the same way as elbows? A: Tees and elbows are entered in a similar manner; reducers require separate entry
